50,000 isnt enough to flip a car...it prob just got knocked out of the way, didnt it? i set mine to over 999,999,999,999 and it flips them a few hundred feet across  the ground for me

download the SAhandlingeditor from gtagarage.com(i think)

ftp your file over and put in the folder with app set path and works fine smile.gif

OK, i tried doing it myself. I set the weight to 225000.0, the collison to .0001, speed to 300, and acceleration to 40. I messed around slightly with others after I first failed.

Cars would vanish when touched. I don't know if they flew away, or sunk becuase a Bobcat went into the ground with only the back of it sticking out. I edited a BMX and I shot the rider and the whole thing vanished. I had a BF injection in a garage, I opened it and it was on its hood, spinning and on fire.

So I need help from better people than i am.

people seem to have problems when they set the collosion to 0.0001 so maybe thats it, although i dont know what its default is. Ive never had problems but all i edit is mass, acceleration, and speed

I tried many variations. It seems like if I put the weight anywhere above 10000-15000 the weird bucking/flipping starts. The other things I changed like speeds are fine. The collision number seems like it does nothing. I am not good at this. VC was much easier to do.

i think i figured out how to stop the cars from going crazy, i was looking at the handling file, and i put the weight of a banshee up to 111400, max velocity to 300, and accel to 50, when i booted it up, it was glitching like crazy, but than i went back and looked at the handling file again and noticed that there was a turn mass part that wasnt in vice city, it was at 3000, so i put the banshees mass back to 1400, got out a calculator, multiplied 1400 by 20 (i know, im lazy  tongue.gif ) and stuck that as the mass, then i multiplied 3000 by 20, and stuck that as the turn mass, and now it seems to work fine... i hope this helps  beerchug.gif

Is your banshee very very fast and does it accelerate very quick? Also, can it stop good or do u just keep going and hit a building or fall into the ocean

it goes pretty fast, (not uncontrollable, but alot faster than normal), and it stops pretty good, it turns kinda sideways when i stop fast (implaying it right now  tongue.gif ) i could get a vid of it if u want, ill just have to find a place to upload it

hey can anyone help? i just tried injecting a new car like 5 times, each with some error, freezing the game, but this time i got it all in, edited all the files right, and now it loads all the way, so i can play.

but the funny thing is, i dunno where to find the car lol, ill let u know l8r if it "really" worked  tongue.gif

im pretty sure that u have to multiply the turn mass by the same as the fmass... try that, it should work...

Theres a few mod's that do things like lock ur doors once ur in the car and make it so your car cannot be damaged so im sure you can find a way to do it.

by not taking damage do u mean cosmetically, or like catching on fire and blowing up, cause i just set the damage multiplier to zero, and my car wont blow up
