How To Fix The Sa Loading Problem

What TSR stands for (from my understanding) is "terminate and stay resident". It allows programs or other things to start and stay in memory in a "ready to go" mode... basically sitting their till it’s told to do something.

I’m by no means an expert, but I’m thinking it might slow down the games because it takes up a little bit of memory. Some games would use more memory then others, and I'm assuming the games that are slowing down with this enabled use more memory than the ones that don’t slow down.

Back in the "DOS days, I used to have a game cheat program on my computer years ago that you could custom make cheats with. So if you’re playing prince of Persia, and you have 4 "marks" of life, you would hit the ~ key, and the program would open. You would tell it to search for the value of 4, and then go back to the game. When that value goes up or down, to either 3 or 5, you would go back into the program by hitting ~ and type in what the value is now. It would search for what lines in memory changed. You could then edit this line so the game would reflect 20 marks of life, or you could freeze it so that you would never lose life, or gain life, etc...

That’s an example of a "terminate and stay resident" program.

OK, I had the same problem, all i did was change my video mode (in evox settings) to "auto" and realized that my game is a PAL version. so all i get is a black and white screen moving up and down. I do have an NTSC modded XBOX, but no tv/monitor to display in PAL mode. Is there any patch out there to convert PAL->NTSC? please help

NTSC xbox and PAL game? WTF?

I'm not going to help you because it sounds like piracy.  <_<

Good news... I managed to get an NTSC default.xbe from a friend. Now I can play in color. This post is just to let all of you who had the same problem as I did, know that switching the PAL default.xbe with NTSC default (vice versa) works.

The TSR setting is for using Trainers thru evox.

I guess R* doesn't want you to use trainers in their game. This is really more useful with online games.'

R* don't care about trainers they Don't want people debuggin there games. Thats why it don't work
