I have a question, I tried your tutorial, followed every step, and the game freezes, even  after clearing the caches and deleting the GTA_VC_CAP.final or something similar (don't have the Xbox right now), so my question is, adding cars works with a trained xbe??

Of course, my xbox has new vechicles and also has project x's trainer for vice city.

Thanks darkblizzard for the reply. I later tried adding a single car, which replaced the Deluxo, and the game froze when I got to the car dealership, so I gave up for the night and will try again when I have a little more free time.
Anybody know the reason or the solution for the frozen game when getting near the dealership?

I'm having a problem myself, I replaced the files in the GTA3.img and everything, but when the game loads, nothing is changed. I also cleared the cache but that didn't do anything either. Anyone know what's going on?

There are 3 things that might have happened,
1) You didn't install dmagic1's wheel mod
2) You didn't follow this tutorial correctly
3) It isn't a car compatible with gta vc on xbox

Yes, ZDemon right, not every car for the pc works with xbox. Some of them slow down the game a little, some work just fine, and some don't work at all. I've experienced alot of cars that slow down the game when you pass themand a few that don't work, period. Good luck with your cars, try different cars and try less advanced, more similar looking cars first that will run better in the game.

I did install the Dmagic's Wheel Mod. Like darkblizzard said, it is a matter of trial and error, as I found out after installing different cars, one of them slowed down the game a lot, other than that, the game works fine now.

Thanks for the help guys, and to Zdemon for the tutorial.

I guess when the car isn't changed at all but replaced with the same car just no wheels means the mod isn't Xbox compatable?

If you have checked these three things:

1) You didn't install dmagic1's wheel mod
2) You didn't follow this tutorial correctly
3)Clear cache and delete GTAVC.CAP.final

And if it still doesn't work, it's just one of those cars that won't work for gta vice city xbox.

I'm not too sure, but it has to do with the way it's modelled, what it's moddelled with, and what textures it uses.

Download the other tool called "IMG" and see if that works better. Download it here.
