This tutorial will tell you how to install dmagic1's wheel mod...

Ok then let's get started.

1.Firstly you will need dmagic1's wheel mod, download it from ftp://ftp.planet-multiplayer.de/sites/the...ic1wheel_V3.rar

2.Extract the files using winrar or other extracting tool. Then go into "GTAVC/Manual Install"

3.Copy and paste the "nowheel.DFF" file into "gta vice city/models/generic" like so(IMG:http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Zdemon29958/Dmagic1.jpg)

4.Okay now open up the dafault.ide file located in the data folder. Change the line "# wheels: 250-257" to "# wheels: 250-257, 249"(IMG:http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Zdemon29958/Dmagic2.jpg)

5.Now open the default.dat located in the data folder. Under the "MODELFILE MODELS\GENERIC\wheels.dff" line put this "MODELFILE MODELS\GENERIC\nowheel.DFF"(IMG:http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Zdemon29958/Dmagic3.jpg)

6.Open up the default.ide file again and under the line "256, wheel_smallcar, generic, 2, 20, 70, 0" put "249, wheel_lightmod, generic, 2, 20, 70, 0"(IMG:http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Zdemon29958/Dmagic4.jpg)

I know this helped me...Even though I see no visual changes or anything on the vehicles I know it must be installed properly because my game plays fine and doesn't lock up

Thank you

It allows you to install cars with custom wheels. Vice uses a DFF file to attach a set of wheels to ALL wheeled vehicles. What this does is add an invisible wheel model to the list, so that you can assign the invisible wheel to the custom car, which has its OWN wheels attatched it its model. If you didnt  have this mod installed you would see two sets of wheels. overlaped
