First of all I dont know who the hell wrote the instructions for half of this shit but the instruction you wrote SUCK!!!
Secondly I have gone through about 56 car mods and I have yet to get any car mod to work every single mod I installed has locked up the game.

Whoever did this has completely screwed up any way of successfully installing this stuff

You people need to clear up the following:

1. Someone said you will only have 3 file types in a downloaded car mod and those are
A. a txd file
B. A ddf file
C. A handling file
Well that's bullshit. I have found in the Hummer limo mod alone 4 difefrent file types.

2. The next thing you need to clear up is if the car comes with 3 or 4 files and you only use 2 of themn what happens to the other file?

3. Someone need to clear up how to install the Dmaigics car mod by posting an example of what a finished file with this in it looks like.

4. Why is it the read me has .dat and .col file information in it and no one has mentioned this because I can't install the Hummer mod because i can't figure out what i'm supposed to be doing with the files where they gop and what I'm supposed to do with the file info in the readme because it looks like it needs to go somewhere.

ANd before anyone gets the idea and mentions for me to take it easy...I have one word for you...SCREW YOU i won't take it easy because this is the 90th time (And that's not an exaggerated number either) I've had to go through this with this bord just to find out information that should have been posted to begin with...I'm so sick of this bullshit..

YOU PEOPLE REALLY NEED TO LEARN HOW TO WRITE INSTRUCTION MANUALS because I can tell everyone here right now You have absolutly no clue how to help anyone.
So I took the liberty of writing an instruction manual on how to write and instruction manual....and you will see that after reading mine and then comparing it to what you idiots have written you will see that you have no clue on how to write a how-to guide.
I haev written multiple guides and not one guide I have written has there ben any question asked on how to use anything in it. and one of my guides has been downloaded over 600 times. I have have a 100% accurate track record with writing how to guides and when i say you people can't write worth a shit I mean it.
I'm so sick to death of having to ask 40 questins just to get part of what i need to know and then having to ask 60 more to get another part of it and then having to ask 25 more to get the rest...Learn how to write a guide so we only need to ask 4 times max...WTF this is bullshit I'm sick of this. This is ridiculous

(TO ANONE READING THIS.....READ MY ENTIRE TOPIC AND THEN TAKE A LOOK AT ALL THE RESPONSES)


You see what we have here people, is a clasic case idiotic and and dumb fuckers who obviously either
1. Cannot read
2. Smart ass answers
3. Or just being plain stupid just because they can.
4. All of the above
Either way I have correctly predicted all the answers people would give. Not that I have anyspecial powers but just because people are stupid.

Of everything I have said in the initial topic Every response that has been given (Execpt mine) I have gone over in the topic. And the thing that backs me up on my points (So now I have even more proof about what's in my topic) is that I said all of this way before any responses were given...(Look at the date difference and look at how many views this topic has)
Now lets see here, (These are all out of order) I can disect all the responses and place a proper part from my topic by them

1. Someone called me a noobie (Look at the date I joined and whay this was brought up is beyond me...Pointless answer
2. I was told that I did something wrong with the mods from a person that didn't have any problems if the person read my topic he would have seen me make a comment on how the instructions weren't clear and how that some of the readmes didn't cover what I was needed answered. But yet it was my fualt (I guess) that the readme's weren't written in a moanort I understood.

3. I have someone trying to turn around the problem around back on me even though This is covered in the bottom of my topic (It's one of the last things I said).

4. I have comparisons being made to me with stuff that has nothing to do with this to try and take the focus off them by what they said

5. I was told that I must have tried them only for about 10 min or that I must have tried to put them on there all at once (But if you read my topic I clearly explained that)
A. I have been at this for a very long time
B. Maybe I did try to put all the mods on at once...maybe I didn't...Maybe I did both ways One at a time and all at once)......But either way none of the mods worked that I did. So how I put them on there is not the point with this Instead the point is that I tried 50 mods and I got none of them to work But when you have been on this site for as long as I have (Maybe not as a member) but just being here on the site I can and do read others replies/tips I think I know how to install a mod properly but it was automatically assumed that since this person got them to work and they didn't have a problem then the mod is flawless and it works 100% of the time for everyone..So I guess he feels the need that the same will automatically go for everyone else....So I guess it's safe to say that he took into consideration that he knows everyones computer and hte programs on it what speed they have, what thier system is compatible with and everything else that fall under this catagory So he knows this goes for everyone and that's what he is basing his info on....Sorry my mistake that I didn't tak into consideration that you know evey single little thing about everone's computer in the world for you to go a head and make that assumption that I did something wrong.....So I guess that this person is SOL when it comes to this aspect of it.

But above all what I'm going to point out is this:
As you can see not one person has answered with anything helpful. The point here is everyone did exactly everything I said they were going to do.
So rather than try to get something accomplished I have to take up more board space because I couldn't get help

Make this 51 times now so I guess that shoots to hell the persons statement (Whoever said it) that I only tried this for 10 min and gave up.

You seem to have a misconception as to why I wrote this topic so i'll clear this up  for you right now (Read Carefully):
I wrote this topic because of how the people on the forum behave, respond to people, and because the instructions to most of this stuff are written shitty (I Include myself in this as well because I'm just as much of an asshole as you people are) However the difference between me and you people is this:
When I write aninstruction manual I write it properly (That meaning EVERYONE NO MATTER WHO READS IT) can understand it. My hex editing the Morrowind.xbe is a prime example of that and so is my idiots guide to modding fable.
As you see there is no excuse for writting piss poor instructions for this stuff.
If I can write a manual so that everyone can grasp it then so can the other people here...Again someone provided a really nice explination of how to install dmagics wheel mod....So again what I have said and done and the person who posted that are proof that the manuals you other people post and write are shitty.
So rather than try to drag other things into this topc that aren't even the same I figured  that I would at least clue you in as to what te actyual point to my topic is.

Now just to clarify the rest of what you have been saying about me:

1. I never called anyone a liar on the GTA Forum I only said that the instructions are written shitty
2. I never said any of the mods didn't work I said that I couldn't get any of them to work because of the way the instructions were written
3. Your going to seriously tell me that the instructions are written so clear that anyone can follow them look at the instructions for those and then look at the how the instructions for the dmagicswheel mod and my guides are written and do a comparison check...Need I say more.
4. I never said I wasn't being an ass on the Morrowind forum and Yes I admit I jumped the gun on there because I was pissed but if you noticed I learned my lsson there and didn't pull the same thing here. about the mods. But this topic is different I will not appologize for my actions here because it's not warranted

5. I never said anyone was obligated to do anything I'm simply pointing out that this is a reoccuring cycle that needs to be broken.

What you ned to realize is this (Something you can't seem to get through your head) If people make it public knowledge that they can do something like using mods then there is no way that they can't know that if the instructions aren't clear then these types of problems are going to arise. and all it does is create long drawn out topics and replies like this that get people no where.....What you also need to understand is this: Take into account how many topics and replies that request the help with this stuff...If the instructions were written clear to begin with people wouldn't be asking for help.
The bottom line is that when anyone anounces that they figured out how to do this stuff then they need to write a manual taking into account that someone reading it has no clues as to what they are talking about.
Because if they don't do that then that's just going to wind upo leading to topics like this one....Like it or not that's the facts about this.
and as to why should they write a manual like that..Simple because everyone here knows that topics like this wil arise..So there are to things here
1. They are either tyring to start shit

But either way it's the person who does this fault for not getting this so that everyone can understand this...After all when something like this is announced then it's a fact that people will flock to this trying to do what was said.

I think this belongs in the general chat.
From the looks of things grifter66 has a past on other forums.  He kind of talks like he's a mod.  One little detail is he's not.  Why are you telling XS how to run its forum?
As for guides, XS has more information than anywhere else when it comes to xbox mods.  Aside from the xbox linux project and a couple others, most of this stuff is more or less illegal.  Now illegal information is hard to come by.  I'd be thankfull to get any info (and I am).  If you think your so much better than everyone else on this forum (and others) go make your own forum.

Grifter, you do realize that these are discussion forums and people are here to help others figure things out?  No one is getting paid for or even volunteering to write instruction manuals.  People are explaining things in the hopes that others can learn from them.  You might get useful responses if you asked for help in short, readable posts, rather than long ranting complaints about those from whom you are requesting help.  I suggest you think about that, get a new screen name and try being nice to people.
