Man thats cool and all but how the hell do I install those mods I mean I want them but I dont understand the Language you speak and are those for the Xbox Vice City or PC

these for xbox my language is french and is so simple to instal the mods
the folders have same the names that in GTA it is enough for you to replace the files
in the folder gta3.img you have these folder
bateau = boat
moto = motor bike
voiture = car
sexy =  
radar = radar

it is enough to replace your dff and txd by this provides in the folders ,without forgets to replace the file bikeh.ifp which is in motor bike

for the sounds you must change the values unknow1 and2 and you add the sound after rebuilding close gta3audio starts again and done it of same for the others

The jpgs of this mod look really sweet. I was wondering, if there was a faq on how to mod my gta:vc? I have never modded anything. I have downloaded IMG Tool 1.3. I also have the mod pack. but the instructions are in french. I translated them with google language tool. but its not an exact translation. Actually its really confusing. Could some one help me? Thanks

Afflicted not to have answered more early but I had big problem with my PC  

for add they cars and bike it the same method that on PC it is enough for you just to erase GTAVCCAP.FINAL on your xbox. for add they sound

if you want the sounds one changes should not forget new values UNKNOW1 and UNKNOW2

make a copy of your files sfx.RAW et sfx.sdt ans placed them in the folder sound of the mod .

run gta3audio editor open the sfx select the first sound will you change and enter the new values in the boxes in bottom on the right now click on relpace in top on the right and charge your new sound (normally the file would owe it rebuild)
left software started again it and to repeat the operation for the other sounds

and the game dosent load it stops loading at 70 pecent .
whaty is the problem i relly wont this mod or sumting similar if there is?/

This is a very rough translation of the installation steps for this mod.  I  pieced it together and hope this is correct.  All of the credit goes to the developer of this mod.

In addition to a map change, many vehicules also have new handing, vehicle boosters, rockets and reinforcment.  To find out more, you'll have to play.
 

1 Get "packgtaxbox" from this site: http://elrayzeur.fre...packgtaxbox.zip

2-Extract "packgtaxbox" into a folder on the desktop

3-Install GTA: Vice City onto the HD of the Xbox

4-Through FTP, transfer the files "gta3.img" and "gta3.dir" (they are inside the "models" folder).  It is very important to make sure that both of these 2 files are in the same folder on the PC.

5-Download and install the program, "imgtool_1.3" (sorry, site not given.. try Googling it).  Now, after opening the imgtool program go to File->Open and open the "gta3.img" file that you recently transferred (step 4).  Next goto Tools from the dropdown menu and select Sort->Name  This leads to step 6...

6-In the "packgtaxbox" folder there exists 2 folders, DATES and MODELS.  Open the MODELS folder and notice the GTA3.IMG folder.  Inside of this you will see folders for each vehicle (bateau=boat, motos=motorcycles, voiture=cars, sexy=billboard change, radar=radar change).  The only goal for this section is to replace these new objects in place of the old ones.  To do this find the file from the list in IMGTOOL, select them all, and in the COMMANDS menu select delete.  

7-Then, in the same COMMANDS menu select ADD, and replace all of them with the ones given in the packgtaxbox folder.  Do this for the entire list.

8-Now, go into COMMANDS and select REBUILLD ARCHIVE and then YES.  Now wait for this entire process to finish...

9-no FTP the new "gta3.img" and "gta3.dir" files back into your copy of Vice City on the HD.  After this is done replace the"data" and "models" folders (along with the rest) with the ones you received from the packgtaxbox folder.  Before you finish you must delete the GTA_VC.CAP.Final file from the Xbox in order for the game to work.  Now you can enjoy Vice City all over again with the new Ferrari, Porshe, Toyota, Ducati, etc... I believe that the same process edge Be made with with GTA3, "new" goal in the place of vehicules voces irao to uses "old vehicules" (did not know how to translate this last sentence.. sorry.. never took french).

At first I thought when you would delete the file GTA_VC.CAP.Final that this would solve this problem but I guess it was something else...

one thing I have noticed is whenever I launch the game it creates a file in the root dir of the game called GTA_VC.CAP.Final.temp
is this normal?

Thanks... I followed the directions completely and I can only get 70% or so... if the creators could post some help that would be great.  The steps I took are laid out.  I even deleted the save files before trying, hoping that would change it, but it didn't.

has any english speaking person gotten this to work. I'm not good with sort of thing. While your translation was much better than i could do, i still have a bit of trouble understanding what you're saying. Do i just copy these files to the vice city directory? I read something about changing some files, i'm not sure what to do...

Sorry about leaving some unknowns in my translation, I never claimed to know French.  If you list your questions I would love to collaborate with the authors and release a faq for english speaking users.  I myself am stuck on 70%, but really want to get this project released widespread.

heres one question:
(1.) is the custom default.xbe the cause of it not loading properly?
(2.) is there a way to integrate the original one to have it load normally with the mods intact?
this should hopefully start some other questions to shed some light on this topic
