Has anyone had any success modifying the pedstats.dat file on the XBOX? I am trying to change it so the gangs no longer shoot at me based on the PC hacks but it doesn't seem to work. It almost appears that while the file exists on the XBOX version it isn't used.

What I am really trying to do is prevent the gangs from attacking me.

If anyone has had any success modifying this file please let me know. Also if anyone knows of any other way to hack the game to keep the gangs from attacking it would be appreciated.

I did read in one thread about a "broken mod" but the site mentioned doesn't have it - at least not for GTA3.
