Question About Modding Some Files

I've always wanted to be able to maybe change the names of the Wakeboarders in Shawn Murray's Wakeboarding Unleashed. I was wondering, is there any way that we can change the names and or maybe get like custom characters in? for example like take a picture of someone, and map it? kinda like Tony Hawk's Underground??
