Editing .dat Files In Madden Nfl 07

Well...I've looked around and I can't seem to find any kind of universal .DAT file editor/convertor so that I can mod some of the files in Madden 07, like UNIFORMS.DAT, to perhaps edit in the new San Diego Chargers uniform or other things involving rosters that you can't do through game menu(s), like adding player pictures to the game, or adding and removing players from the rosters.

Most of the data files in Madden are .DAT files, while the others are .QKL and .DB which I would also like to see what they consist of to be able to have full access to the game. So any help would be a wonderful.
