Extracting Sound Files From Call Of Duty: Finest Hour

I'm hoping to replace a couple of of the sound effects in this game but I'm stuck. I've managed to extract the sounds from the game using EkszBox. I've then tried to convert and/or play the files using Xbadpdec. I only get horrible noise though, not the actual sounds. Anyone got suggestions?
