hello. im searching a savegame or a hack fo doa2 u. im searching for a while. hope u can help me.

oh hey your the guy that PM'd me. yeah DOAU is a memory sucker, so booting it is a pain, as is to run anything else along side it, like xdk, so i can imagine the game save protection, won't be nearly close to being easly hacked. oh thats right, any save you download has to be re-signed, with your xbox's MAC address, its a huge number thing.

moving on been dead sitting at home doing nothing since school stopped, just recently got back into doau

thx man, i made that cosplay thread to get more skinning ideas, didnt get many new ideas though. many cosplay is based of final fantasy naruto, or various other japanese animes, which i'm just not in touch with anymore.. Cell's been the best one since a while now.

okay, afs explorer is a free program made by a soccer community, just google it. The current version is aww, 3.7 .... yeah.

so you got afs explorer 3.7 then ? great,...

as for models, best grab them off the source disk, using the 3ds/dds extractor. cause this one fourm got in total shit for posting doa models not to long ago.

if you can the best program for opening the doa afs is greedexplorer, well if you can find it. should be on google though

its not gonna matter much unless you know your way around an image editing program. since doau is a xbox game it uses the native dds image format, only adobe paint shop cs fully supports this.

^ above is the dds plugin for adobpe's photoshop

another image editor you can use (what i use) is paintshopX by corel aka jasc. it can use older versions of nvidia's dds plugin, before version 3. but i doubt you'll have luck finding an older version on google. if you need it for paintshopproX then let me know and i'll PM it to you via rapidshare.de link

after you know you can handle a paint program, then you'll need some apps, like maybe 2 more, not afs explorer though...

also i checked out google.. oddly o_O theres no stuff about doa or the tools for it, lol don't know if thats a good thing or bad thing that all the tools are gone.

No actually ALL of the tools are available online.  I just checked.



I even found mirages tool and mdlhack.


Just type xbox-saves next to any search words.


ex:  AFSexplorer xbox-saves


For any gamesaves do the same.  I just found white lisa again lol.

thanx a lot you two    im working with photoshop 7 so i downloaded the dds plugin for photoshop. but it aint working    

im not a noob and im working a lot with photoshop and i did it all right i think. ive put the dds.8bi dat into the plugin folder of adobe ps. but i cant open dds files. i made skins for nfs underground, too and there were no problems with the dds.

well if you had an old plugin installed for photoshop back then it should have worked, you wouldn't even need a new one. anyway their should have been an installer, it only works for adobe products though, it should be no problem. what sort of problem are you running into, like you try to open the file... and it just doesn't reconize? or is it crashing?


thx heet i didn't even know the xbox-save links were still floating around google. better save em while you have a chance, since they ripped the links off, the only way of accessing old files is through google.. thats not goin to last very long.

also nook, if you can't get photoshop working with the dds plug, try a plug around the 1.18 version or just try downloading a 70mb trial of one of the newer adobe products, you'll be required to provide some email information though.
