Yeah.  Not quite sure where to insert it though.  And also not quite sure what to change the values and stuff to.

Could anyone possibly help me add a skin to soul calibur 2?  I have a skin for taki that utilizes her first costume and there are 3 skins default.  However, I'd like to keep the first costume unchanged and make a 4th costume that uses the mod.
I have SC2 Skin Add and have tried to do this but the game locks up when selecting the 4th costume.  Does anyone have experience with this tool?  What do I have to do exactly?

With the root.olk loaded in olxexplorer open file5.olk and then highlight file133.pkg (file125.pkg if PAL)  Click the export button and save it somewhere on your hardrive.  Highlight the dots under file135.pkg (file 127.pkg if PAL) and click the import button and import the file you just saved on your harddrive.

Once the program is done importing click on the + sign next to the newly created file136.pkg. (file128.pkg if PAL)

If the skin you are trying to import has a vmx extension highlight file1.vmx that is inside file 136.pkg (file128.pkg if PAL) and click import, otherwise if it has a vxt extension click on the + sign next to both file136.pkg (file128 if PAL) and the file1.vmx inside it.  Highlight Textures and click import

Once the program is done ftp to your xbox.

Sc2skinadd has to be in the same directory as the xbe file you are trying to modify.  Once run click read and then choose Taki in the left drop down box.  Change both the available and selectable skins from 3 to 4.  For the profile you can type the number from the first box into the fourth box.  Do the same for the Silhouettes.

Click write and ftp to your xbox.  Everytime you add a skin you have to modify the xbe so it knows how many skins each character has.

is there a limit to the amount you can add? one of these days i want to collect all the skins into one game

Eight per character,  You can double that if you replace PAL and NTSC with diffeent skins.  On my US game the "PAL" costumes show up if I change the language to Japanese.  Not every character has that many skins.  If the number of PAL/NTSC skins isn't the same the game will lock up when the language is changed.  For example if I give my stock game a fourth Taki skin for NTSC and then change my language to Japanese and cycle past the third Taki skin it will lock up.

one of the coders at hiveq created a OLK extract and OLK builder, could this lead possiblity to an infinate number of costumes? even with a eng/jap switch if the OLK was enlarged it prolly work. though i don't know what happen to that selby guy or his rebuild tool. it doesn't seem to work.
also are all the skins on your site all the good ones you've collected since hiveq? or is it a mix from SX's old sc2 archive?

after i skin doau's levels sc2's next on my list.

The rapidshare downloads are what I culled from Hiveq and SX.

I don't know if the xbe could support more than 8 skins per character.  Wonder if Selby knows about NinjaZombie?  That type of discussion would fit in nicely there.

Also, the readme mentions something about telling the game which skins to use when it's doing the demos and against you when you're playing but it's pretty vague on that too.  How do I set the computer to pick the skin I added?

Is the OlkExplorer still available for download anywhere. I came across a rapidshare file and it expired. Everything seems to have vanished without a trace.

Super_Saiyan_Sonic  has it on his page still.    Everyting that was rapidshared on my page still resides on my harddrive.           If there is enough interest I'll upload again.
