CODE
444453207C000000071008000001000000010000008000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000020000000040000004458543100000000000000000000000000000000000000000010000000000000000000000000000000000000

so copy above and paste it at the from of the whatever.dds file you saved. do this by left clicking the veryfirst number in the file and pressing CTRL+V to paste. the save file, (CTRL+S)

now open this file in some art program, an it should work, if not its the wrong size in the DDS header. if you want to experiment with different headers save any image from photoshop/paintshop, open it up in a hexeditor and copy the first 80bytes, whcich is the header of the DDS.

anyway the 90kb file you've extracted is actually 2 DDS files stuck together, but i'm not sure how to find the second one. you should be able to find and edit the face.

once you edit, save back as dds DXT1, open it in a hex editor again, delete the first 80 bytes of the header, highlight all, and paste back at offset "00002080" at nickmain.xbox. save and ftp back to xbox.

i think i confused myself more then anything now. thats what i know, lets beg for a coding god. sort out my noobisness

Cheers 256x152 work fine thanks and i hope some one can find some way of extracting the textures and other stuff like ragdoll files.
IPB Image

also 256x1024 lets you edit the hole texture the body and head and some other part i think that part is for gibs.

Right i have found that for the head of the skin you need to ge the offset 0 to 0000A870 like so IPB Image

to get the head like this this is in mipmap mode.
IPB Image

use the header for 256x256

all textures are 256x256 i have the body and head now looking for the rest.

if you guys are serious about wanting a program to do it, what you could do is find all the offsets for each character that would be needed, and find out the necessary dds headers for each as well.  then go to the "pc utiilies" forum, and see if someone would be willing to code a program if you provided all the necessary information.  doesnt seem like it should be a hard program to code, provided all the offsets are the same for each file.  i mean, sounds like all the program would do is copy data from offset a to offset be, and combine it with header, then build the file.  not sure.  i'm not an expert.

but i needed a simple program once, posted there, and someone offered to do it for me.  program works fine.  never know, might get lucky.  you just might have to do all the hard stuff of finding the necesary info for them.

meh i got lazy, i did the whole mapping dds textures for BloodyRoar(xbox) and DOA4(360) and still don't have programs for full extractiuon/injection.

it takes awhile to map offsets

All you need to really do is find the table if present. It should link the entries to a name or a value and an offset. It is usually a 5 minute task and it saves a huge amount of time. Most programs would need to find out exactly how file is stored to import/export.
