Extract Audio From Xbox Game?
« on: June 14, 2006, 09:23:00 AM »

***Sorry, I posted this in the wrong forum.  Shouldn't be in a 360 Forum***

Is there an easy way to extract the audio samples (like a sports announcer) from an XBOX game?  I have some boring home movies of the family playing golf and thought it might be funny to extract the audio from Outlaw Golf, TWPGA or a similar golf game and spice the video up.

I can obviously rip the game to the XBOX HD to transfer over to my PC using FlashFXP, but where do I go from there?  Any suggestions?

Thanks In Advance

I don't think you are talking about a 360. I think this is in the wrong forum, but the best way is to see if the game includes the media files of the sounds in the game, then use those with a audio converter.

with 360 your only options are to plug it into line-in on your PC and record it with any program of your choice

if its an xbox title its possible (relatively easily) to extract that from a backup

It is an XBox title.  How would I do that from a backup?
