You cannot just randomly "add" files to a game resource.  The game executable looks for specific filenames and filesizes.  Do you honestly think that you can just add any code you want in a game and expect the main executable not to crash or complain?  The art of making extractors and rebuilders requires intimate knowledge of the file format.  This alone can be a daunting task sometimes.  Try it and you will understand.

yes, i do know what your talking about, however, lets take a rvd.k file for example, lets say you extract it and somehow modify it, however, you still want to use the original RVD, but nope, cannot add no files...

even tho this sounds like it wouldent work properly, but it all depends on the file, the code, the source, the everything, its all different, i have modded games with similar files/compressions, for some, it doesnt work, for others, works perfectly, but liek i said, it depends on the file...

well, anywho, thats not what this thread is about realy, so, any mod creators with d/l'able mods? and also whats the newest/best programs for wm21 moddings so far?

oh and 1 more thing, i know this is very off topic but, where can i find the codec to play files from xbox games? when i open them it says it is looking for the codec, but then can't find it..

It isn`t necessary to add files to the WAD Archives, many things can be loaded off the WM21 Main directory.

You may want to take a look at my WM21 ModPack v1, it actually adds over 30 new Skins without overwriting the old ones.

yea, i've seen it before, its pretty good, however i have dial-up and it will take me about 6 or 7 hours to download it..

do you have them in seperate files?

and i love the blood mod, is there any way i could download that seperate from the mod pack?

k, i just d/l'ed it, pretty cool, however, i would wonna see some new wrestlers... i know it is possible.. i'm working on a few, well, i'm just testing everything out first, but i'll get some done someday

any other mod makers with mods? i'm looking for new superstars..

and how do you hack into your game save account & change the ammount of point you have to use up in shopzone?

I want to see real austin and hollywood rock added stuff like that also added my own music using XXIExplorer but i started get even more freeze ups then the game already has i set them all as

ADPCM
44.100khz 4bit stereo

and cut them down to 2min max but still have problems.

Ok, I'll go ahead and reveal something.  Just add a .wma file (44,100Hz, 16bit, 128kbps, stereo) into a directory, and just make the reference to that instead of the .wav file.  

That's how I added theme songs for added wrestlers.

I just found all of the WM 21 mods and stuff from wrestlinggames.de last night and it has made this game A LOT more fun to play.  Thanks to the people who help late/newcomers like me.  

Is there any way to replace some of the wrestlers in the game that don't matter much?
