somehow i doubt it. x-s is only trying to protect itself. and it seems that bungie's ego has exploded and is now in the narrow minded world of "modding is cheating" and that no one could possibly ever improve on what they've done. amusing considering the stories of halo modders that got jobs at bungie because they were modding. i can understand being ticked about keeping modders off of live, after all, thats the way its supposed to be.
cheaters should be labeled cheaters, simple as that. whether they are using modded content or game glitches. some cheaters ARE modders. some ARE glitchers.
modders are not NECESSARILY cheaters. some modders ARE cheaters. some ARE NOT.
i just wish the legit modders didnt have to pay for what the cheaters (mod or not) do on live.
though i can't blame x-s for protecting itself. i would like to see a couple tutorials i saw in the h2 forum archived and released somehow. dont see the harm in that. i can see the harm in the links to files. oh well, i dont even own h2, but was considering getting it after i saw 1 tutorial that was posted right before the forum removal.
