brienj is right. Most sports games are like this already. They cannot put the actual names for the players because it is against the NCAA rules, but its not against the rules for them to let the announcers say their names. So if you edit all the players names or create a player, the announcers will say the names. The guy who made the roster save just edited every single player in 1A schools on the game so now the announcers say most of the players names.
So you are not really unlocking anything. Another reason they prerecord the names is because even if you dont edit or create the players, the new recruits each year have made up names instead of numbers and the announcers will announce them by their names also.
