I am trying to use the mods for WM21 that are posted in this forum but can't seem to get XXIExplorer to work right. At first it would say soemthing about can't run program there is a missing file and some else about registering. Then I downloaded VB6 run time files along with another file that I place in my system32 folder. Now XXIExplorer seems to run but I can't figure out how to open the wad files. When I click open wad in XXIE nothing happens. I even tried dropping the file into the programs list but it won't allow me to. I also tried moving the wad file into the XXIE folder then running the program but I get nothing. Can someone please help. I would like to use the mods as well as look at whats in the WAD file.

Ok i downloaded multiex commander now how do i use it for WM21 wads?

To add themes, open up dvd2.wad, find the one you want to replace, and import it. I don't think the size matters if you are using XXIExplorer 1.2. Titantrons are located in the cutscene/video folder. And the .res files are extractable in v1.2 of XXIExplorer, but I haven't had much luck importing them in. It usually causes a disc-read error message to show up. If .res files are extracted with 1.2, edited, and imported with 1.0, it seems to work fine.

For dds files use photoshop, You need a dds plugin for photoshop though. Also make sure the .k file is in the xxie program folder to export the dds files.

I know where the titiantrons are located but what kind of file are they saved as? Do I just import any vid file in place of it?

Also I imported cenas new theme but it doesn't work why is this? Its the one that came with the mod I didn't make it. I know someone said something about deleting some file or something but I don't know what it was. Also what are the music files saved as? Can a just import any wma file?

Do you have a link to the newest XXIE program?
