I need a util the will take a 24 bpp BMP and Swizzle and unswizzle them image with the output format also BMP 24 bpp.

this is for MVP baseball 2005 but should work with any EA games that uses XSH files

I would perfer a command line program but at this point I'm not to picky

not to mention this would be very useful for modding GTA San Andreas because the shirts and skins are swizzled also...

just wondering if this tool has already been created?

I searched for like 3 months and could not find anything, the closest I came was some TEX utilities

this is a doau trainer.. but it also has a unswizzle proggy in it.. command line...

Hey Yardyguy, that Swizzle program that comes with the doau trainer, i think it really is crap, it odesnt work for me, at all. Ask magus about a deswizzling program, he does a lot with screenshot stuff.

After working woth soul calibur for so long, i've come to realize that there are many different types of what people refer to as "swizzled/unswizzled".

Seeing as i'm out of a job and up to my ears in legal fees, i wouldn't mind taking on the challenge... But if someone here is going to crack this format, the first thing we'll need it a picture of what this image is *supposed* to look like. (screenshot from the game, etc...) I'll also need the file itself as opposed to a screenshot of it.

perfect. i'll take a look at them.

also, if you don't mind me being a little picky, is it possible to get an example with a bit more color variation? when it's only a couple shades of grey/green and white it's hard to tell exactly how it was swizzled...

these look fairly simple... i think with a slight modification to my sc2 image unswizzler, i should be able to pull something off.
