Obtaining Authkey For A Game
« on: May 24, 2005, 01:59:00 PM »

Well the Signature Key for a game is easy to get its right there in the default.xbe, just to dump it and search, but the Authkey is different. In my findings I think uses a algorithm (function and lots of sub functions) to generate the authkey so you won't be able to find it anywhere you'd have to find the proper function and decode it. Any tips or words of help from anyone would be appreciated, thanks.

It seems to go through a normal function and if that is changed relys on lots and lots of sub-functions. non-xbox live games have just 1 function, and xbox live games have 15+ sub functions and the 1 original function. All is through default.xbe it generates a static authkey going through this system.
