thanks, but i needed this a year ago, and i have deleted TMNT1+2 now, because i have the x2vga, and my big screen 47 inch with 480i-480p-1080i is a family tv, anyway thanks, but i wish i had seen this a year ago, any way, how are you guys finding these?

I guess no one else could be bothered to try and patch the games, or never found the correct hex. I recently got a X2VGA so i'm having a crack at a couple of the most requested ones that never got done.



If i get time ill try and put togeter a mini guide to show how these are found - what patterns to look for, although the process is rather complex and nearly every game is different.


Here is a little bit of info for starters

nearly everygame will have a flag to tell the D3D device what the output is so to speak.

00 is default (eg autoselects i/p)
20 is interlaced
40 is progressive

add (OR) 10 to this and it sets 16:9 widescreen
add (OR) 100 onto this and you get 10x11 mode (produces a black boarder to sides)
add (OR) 200 onto this and you get an emulated refresh rate (associated mainly with with PAL/PAL60)
