ok seems this is only a partial fix will update when i figure out the where the 2nd hex is

btw anyone can help -  use evo ex debug to find the breakpoint just after select scene, for some reason the game selects 480i again here.

I have tracked the problem down to what looks like a call on a sub routine @ address 000C6E30.  Still not sure what causing the display to reset to interlaced atm.
