My game doesn't change at all. It plays fine, but unchanged. Followed the instructions closely, and got the "O.K. Burn cd now" message when I patched the default.xbe and then the other two files with ppf-o-matic3. Here's my method and set-up : (Do you see a problem here?)
1. After patching the three files with the ppf's, I'm making an ISO with Craxtion, then burning to DVD. I've back'd up all my originals before with Crax Iso's with no previous problems.
2. I've got an old box with matrix chip, old Evox(version 2812) and old bios(version evox 2.4). Haven't had any problems with this set-up with any of my backups, but this is the first gamehack I've tried.
3. Can't remember if this is one of the games that had the media flag check that had to be patched with Crax. If so, the default.xbe would have been patched originally with the media flag, before I patched it again with this ppf. Would this cause a problem?
So, which if any of these things is likely causing the problem? Any ideas? The game plays fine but unchanged. Also, I ftp'd one of the game saves that gave you lots of money, using this same disc, and I got the "Corrupted file error". I think this happens because the default.xbe patch isn't working, right?
