Been checking it out a lil' bit.
There are many ini files you can play it, but they don't seem to affect what they should affect.

Example:
The race track ini file has many settings such as "TimeOfDay" and "TimeOfDayBias".
Those values are, if I remember, -0,060000 by default.
I tried to modify as many values as possible, but nothing changed.

I guess that the game is caching the main files somewhere & even though I could find some files from the game in my Z: drive, there were no ini files.

My main hypothesis would be that the settings my be hard-coded into the game since this is only a demo, but I don't think so.
Second hypothesis is that I only played around with the game for 30 minutes, so I might have missed something. (Maybe the ini files are zipped in a cab and put in the cache? who knows.)

If you want to change the # of laps and opponents check out the event.xml file in the trial directory. You can open the xml files in wordpad. I have upped my laps to 10 and opponents to 5, I tried 7 but I could only get 7 on the A class cars, the other class races would just hang at the track loading screen. With more opponents it takes a little longer to load the track.

i tried this last night.. the laps adjustment worked fien.. when i change number of AI it dosent change anything

in order for the AI to work you have to change all the fields after NumAICars from false to true. But like I said before, if you want it to work for all 3 classes of cars, 5 AI works fine.

Did that work to get more AI Sniper? I've been trying to find something to be able to check out the cabs but haven't found anything yet. MS's cab viewer lets me open them but doesn't show anything in there.
