Why are you doing this the hard way ? just use ftp. I think you  wont be able to run trainers from Cd-rw or any kind  of removeable storage devices, because you need to enable the trainer from the evox menu And about boxplorer you should be able to copy and paste files.

you can copy trainers jsut fine from a cd-rw
my only problem is having them to work.
I enable tehm; save and quit; launch teh game; and nothing ahppens

When i go back to th trainer options everything is back to off

You cant get trainers to work Its not that hard, you need to transfer ( using FTP ) the trainers to the trainer folder on the C: drive of your xbox ... if you dont have that folder then you will need to create it and transfer the trainers in there. after that reboot your xbox enable the trainer and its options save exit, reboot xbox again and boot your game should work. if not then maybe theres something wrong with your evox.ini or the trainer itself

oh ..i have to save the settings and then reboot and then put the game? i just  used to save and euther out the game disk in or run the game from the hardisk...didn't know if have to reboot first..hmm let me try that

nope; don't work; everytime i save reboot and check the trainer status; they are back to the defaults of off

are there any settings that i have to have?

nvm got it running; just had to change some tsr and region settings
