I tried switching to PAL video mode and my TV goes all crazy. Is there a way to fix this.

Your TV goes all crazy because your TV was only designed for NTSC.

You need to use enigmah to READ a PAL disk but you still need to OUTPUT in NTSC.

No, you cannot change your TV to PAL.

Some PAL games work flawlessly on an NTSC box (or at least they work on my modded box without me having to do anything. DOn't know if this is a result of the chip BIOS).
Once again, do not, I repeat, DO NOT change your output to PAL unless you're taking your Xbox to Europe.
