Playback Msx/mbx Sound Files

I looked today at the content of some games and noticed the file format that's used to store sound in these games is MSX/MBX (not in all games ofcourse).

Does anyone know how to playback these MSX/MBX sound files or convert them to an other (known) format on the pc?

I want to do the reverse - convert .wav or mp3 to Msx/mbx

Anyone master this shit yet?

well the MSX files are sound archives with wavs inside of them I tryed using GAP (Game Audio Player) but it couldn't playback the wavs due to a unsupported compression

so would need something else to be able to playback these wav files
