Thing is, as I actually bought the game I never have had an ISO of it - which I assume is what the PPF is applied to (unless its applied to the default.xbe, I dunno without the NFO).

I'm thinking the best step from here is to just try making my own xISO from the PAL game and trying the PPF with that.

The ppf file included it's only if you downloaded the DVD9 GP release, so for you and me it is useless.

All the other complex procedures and bla, bla, bla, only come to say you have to overwrite some files of your game with the six .asf files included in the package.

I have tried this and it works.... partially, the files provided are the character data files (Decapitable enemies) but there is no hacked file provided to allow me decapitate the "grey throwing explosive darts ninjas" and i don't know if there is more enemies that are missing hecked files for decapitation.

I cannot get into www.ninjahacker.net, if someone knows all the .asf files of the dacapitable enemies of the game, plz, tell me.

EDIT: I was wrong, these "grey throwing explosive darts ninjas" are decapitable with the patch, it didn't worked the first time because the game was reading the files from the cache until i realized that. So clear ninja gaiden cache (X, Y or Z drives) after aplying the hacked files. Works flawlessly, exactly as it was in the ntsc version.

If still there are any doubts, you can download the file from XS Filter - Do not link to Torrents Sites on xs. ** tracker, easy and... funny   (i hope i did not break any rule saying this)

Glad everyone's got it working ok, I had the same problem not clearing my cache of files - thought it hadn't worked!

Back to playing the game now, as TECMO intended! Woohoo!

So, lemme see if I get this right. You can just leave your PAL backup on the hard disk, all you have to do is overwrite six .asf files and clear the cache. Can anything go wrong doing this? My original disc is badly scratched  :rolleyes:

so no this has been fixed does that mean someone might start working on a PAL Trainer?

Um, I never even use Craxtion. I just copy the entire DVD to my HDD with BoXplorer. I have about 40 backups on there and they're all running just fine, including Ninja Gaiden. Would I still have to change the .xbe file? These aren't real cracks are they?

Anyway, it worked for me. It was great having played the NTSC version to play my PAL copy and jump off a wall to send a head flying

just applied the files to my PAL version and playing now

I know there are six files i think in the patch that replace files in the game.

Are these files from the NTSC version of the game. If they are could someone list the files because i have the american version and i could take them from this game and add them to my pal version.

For some reason the NTSC version doesn't run at the proper speed when i play it on my xbox. It runs at proper speed when i change to a NTSC eeprom but the picture is black and white.
