wtf is wrong with you guys? Do you need me to translate his question? "Hi, I was wondering if anybody had ever modded a first-person shooter game into a third person shooter? Note: I am very new to this sort of thing, and apologize if it is a stupid question". There. No need to be jerks.

...no it isn't. Changing halo into third person IS possible, stuff like that is done all the time. There is even a first person mod out for Baldurs gate on PC.

...I didn't realize using the wrong word means you "don't know how to speak english". Considering "to", and "too" are spoken EXACTLY the same, I would say he knows how to speak English fine, he just screws up words sometimes. Speaking and typing are different things. I would say you are the one with an english problem if I had to tell you that.

Not one punctuation. It would make it a lot easier if their was. People are getting mad because if he would just add some periods and commas, it would be a lot easier to understand. But because hes lazy, he makes a little more work for us.

There is a trick to play Jedi Knight II in 3rd person.  I haven't tried it since I prefer 1st person.  
This is just a paste from gamefaq.  

Play third person view with guns (after Yavin Trials level).
At the very beginning of the Yavin Temple or Yavin Trials level, press and hold the white or black button for six seconds or so. You have to press it while the yellow weapon select bar is visible at the bottom of the screen. This will bind a blank space as a ''quick button'', allowing you to put the saber away (not turn it off) and remain in third person view. Once you have regained your weapons (Nar Shadaa), you can equip your saber, then use the d-pad to find the blank space on the weapon select bar to put it away (empty hand). By pressing left on the d-pad, you will cycle thru the weapons in third person view. Equipping the saber will negate the glitch. (Put the saber away again to reactivate it.)

....I'm pretty sure that you can change the camera in HALO to third person with HALO MAP TOOLS fairly easily. I say pretty sure because I've never actually tried it because it is the stupiest idea in the world. Why would you want to play a first person shooter in third person? Oh, I know, it's because you're a dumbass.

i know u cant change 1st person to 3rd person in halo with hmt, u can only do that kind of stuff in vehicles, and come on i think halo 3rd person would be sweet, and hes not a dumbass

I agree. I would like to try halo in 3rd person as well.

By the way man, your avatar is the best. I dont do the humping often (or as me and my friends call it, "pooting"), but it is very fun. Especially in a ctf game when there is 8 second respawn, your friend starts driving the warthog off with their flag and u kill the guy chasing the warthog.... As your friend drives the flag home, you and someone else on your team just hump the shit out of the dead body haha

If you have a pistol and a shotgun, you can tap the Y button while crouching over the body, just as good tongue.gif

And if people call you a noob for doing it, it means they were mentally violated
(u should only do it when u PWN someone tho, like melee to the back)
