Well, now that I think about it I don't think you'd raise it on the y axis, because the extracted halomodels are rotated all wrong.  Just move the bottom of the hog away from the axis below it. I think it is the z axis you have to move it along.

im pretty sure if u have halo pc with hover hog in it u can just extract the model and place it into the xb version. ive done it with a few items b4. and if it was to hover a little bit off tha ground that would answer my question of how to limit  the height of flying.so i would like to know how to do this.

im liking that hover hog, i got a cool baseball bat sorta thing i made from the skull if you want it, i only have the close model i still gotta do the others but its like a baseball bat with a skull on the end, and he swings it perfectly, im also working on a p-sniper if you want it, hog looks great, but i wanna c more screens of that tank, that could be interesting.

the hover hog is pretty much the only thing keeping me from releasing this mod. If anybody knows of a way to make this thing hover and move then plz tell me thx. I got it to hover but it cant move but you can push it if you want. The gun does not work either.

Well if thats not how then how cause i got it to hover, But it won't move. When i figure this out then i will release my mod.

i figured it out (with the help of ZexGx)
ok open up your sw map in a hexeditor
go to offset 026D0FD8 replace whats there with 10 14 8F 80


next go to offset 2bbeb2c and starting there replace with  

04 00 00 00 AE 47 61 3E 8F C2 F5 3C 6F 12 03 3C
6F 12 83 3C F9 0F C9 3F 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
CD CC 4C 3E
hope this makes sense if it doesnt work, then ill try to be more clear gl
