you just need to place the new content in the relevent folders if the game is ripped IE new maps go in the maps folder... for the game F:gamesXBCopy001 or whatever..
and if your not runnin the game of the HDD then they do go into the TDATA folder and if you look in each folder it is very easy to spot the correct on e at least it is for RB6 3...

you can also put the files onto disc i have seen a tut about for using a disc...

FTP is far more easy..

remember berfore doin somit crazy make a backup...

I think that only works for Rainbow Six 3.

Yes this does work, as I was alongside everyone when we figured this out (as the map packs have been from the begining of all this are hosted on my website).  So far I have working packs for Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon Island Thunder, and Rainbow Six 3.  The only game I have come accross so far that this does not work with is MechAssault.  Also, GRIT will have text issues with the new maps (as it does not look for strings_# files other than the original strings.res), but that is not a big problem.

Currently I am working on and attempting to hack the Rainbow Six Companion Disc to include all xbox live content and force re-signing of contentmeta.xbx to the local eeprom.  I have been working on this for the past 2 days and will be testing the re-signing today.

Edit:   --quote from Shanafan--
"Content from Live is not free. If you are trying to figure out how to hack it to make it work on other Xboxes, Xboxes without a paying Live account, that is illegal."

*nvm that stuff is not on my site anymore and I am not hacking the disc, my project discontinues, bye.  (btw that porksomthingsomthing site was not mine for those of you who were confused)

Now we are allowed to discuss these... full tutorial?

First off, you all know not to link to files, and that means dont ask where to get them, or ask for someone to email you, or PM you, or anything of the sort.

This is how I was told to do it, I have not tried it yet, so someone please try.  I also have instructions for a few other games, so if this works, I'll post the others

Simply transfer from 1 xbox to the other.

Nice post.. but a couple things i've learned hanging around in the XBConnect room + Xlinks rooms [online] dont even need to bother using the UDATA or TDATA which ever i had posted before.. just shove the correct downloads into the SYSTEM and MAP folders or whatever is being updated, [for RB6:3 thats them (System & Map)] they go into the directory for where you Backed your Game up to...  Just a quick Update...

SO Again .. i'll let you all know how it works, correctly!

Log onto XBOX live with a XBOX Game [Retail] download content...
-> Backup Your CD, go into E:UDATA[game_id_number]
-> Copy all the System/Map Folders from that, and shove those into the backed up Directory for your game
-> Put your Retail CD away, and Enjoy the content, backed up. Never have to bother going back to XBOX live to grab the same content for all xboxs in your home

Hope this all helps anyone who wants to get a little lan party together and play the downloaded content. PLus 10mbit is a lot faster than whatever connection you have unless you got a nice 10mbit line in your house

alright well im trying hard to get this to work with DDR Ultramix, On my non-live modded xbox, stats below, i have DDR ultramix backed up on the hdd...  with this game there is no maps or system like in rb6, but there is Media and a Movies folder, then there is the root folder. Well I have all the files from Teh Song Pack #1 where i got it from the TData of the other box.

________________________________________________________________________________

Directory Looks like this:
                             [---------------------------------------------------------------------]  (New Stuff from Live)
E/TDATA/4b4e0019/$c/4b4e001900000001/**Stuff from Song Pack here**

"Stuff from Song Pack" directorys look like this (Stuff insider the 4b4e00190000001 directory)

/abys/**the actual song in here**
/burn/**the actual song in here**
/eyes/**the actual song in here**
/mind/**the actual song in here**
/opti/**the actual song in here**
contentimage.xbx
contentmeta.xbx
SP1.list

Ok first,

I tried transfering the folder into the same place on the other box and replaced it (in TDATA), and well it didnt work, i dont see the songs....

Next i tried putting it also in the UDATA directory, so it look like this...

E/UDATA/4b4e0019/$c/4b4e001900000001/**Stuff from Song Pack here**

Still doesnt work...

Then i tried putting the directories into the main ddr game folder on my f drive, so it reads like this...

F/Games/DDR Ultramix/$c/4b4e001900000001/**Stuff from Song Pack here**

Didnt work...

Then i tried to put it in the DDR Ultramix Media folder, it reads like this...

F/Games/DDR Ultramix/media/$c/4b4e001900000001/**Stuff from Song Pack here**

didnt work...

So, in conclusion, i couldnt get it to work, any suggestions???

Thanx Oryan

the xbl content is signed to the eeprom of the xbox who downloaded it.  You can not copy it from /E/TDATA to /E/TDATA on another xbox, it is still signed and will not load the content.  Instead you shove it on the DVD itself by placing the files in the right places (or if you have the full game on your hdd, you can put it there instead).  MechAssault does not work for this method because the MechAssault disc will not look for the extra files (you could replace current maps, but what fun is that).
