ok people its getting there, I really hope for a release before christmas
we've been working hard but there were some personal problems sad.gif
but there is still progress, ui is getting better, we loaded skins while the app was running
the skin is set in the config file, but there will be a skin selector in the app
(and probably some reset buttons in case the skin is f**cked  tongue.gif )

as a side project i've been making an ini creator, it reads bolls full files so they are like 600kb-1.5MB and it takes some time to load  biggrin.gif  so isnt going fast but it can already get all the projectiles/weapons/vehicles/physics from each level  wink.gif

not gonna add each model because bg had already 63 models ohmy.gif
need to add the special new hce stuff but it should be ready when hce is finished wink.gif

yea, i tried HCE...... and i thought that the idea was awesome.... but i don't use it because it is glitchy and doesn't apply patches very good (maybe its just me).... if u got everything working good i would definitly use it!!

well im not hear to speak FOR XW, but i HAVE talked with him and im happy to say he got his default ini creator improved to load boll's files in about 2 seconds smile.gif. this means once all the items r implemented, it will come out really soon after (he also has some GUI issues to work out with his partner). the rest of hce is also makin forward progress.

i have also taken my time to make a HCE Skinner, which i take great pride in and will be released at the same time as HCE. i think ppl underestimate HCEC (the skinner), cuz as we can see from allxboxskins.com, ppl like things THEIR way. HCEC is used on ur pc and supports bg gradient, transparency, and color change for all objects. future updates will include: option for gradient bg or pic bg, and changable bg pic. i havent released the newest version yet (which, btw, owns the old version. i worked out all the bugs and added some features), but if u wanna be a beta tester u can PM me.

fortunately a feature being included with HCE is the skin selector (as XW said above) which i think ppl will enjoy for settin the mood. i will try to find a pic host and post the similarities in HCE and HCEC asap

I've tested the skinner and can say it's good!
Glad to hear this project is still up and running.
Can't wait 'till HCE is a powerfull as HMT.  biggrin.gif

wow mastertito4 thats the reason i stopped working on HCEC with u, because ur a credit hog!!

bg gradient and transparency were my implementations and also some of the GUI and File I/O. but i do give u credit for everything else!

XW good job on HCE hope to have a release thats not buggy lol take ur time and test it to the fullest!

sry bout that CLuis, but to be fair i just asked for a little help  wink.gif ... i do give u plenty of credit (a la the about page and the readme), but i just needed a little guidance... i didnt think u wanted like ur name in the title or anything! anywhoo, yes, u did do the hard stuff and i learned A TON from u and this project as a whole. thanx and sry about that miscommunication

That'd be the end of it!
Just get ALL of the original stuff, like in the first releases you really didn't have all the weapons for SP and projectiles and stuff. It was kinda a pain adding that stuff myself... I guess that's why you didn't do it.  rolleyes.gif
Having more options is great but I'd rather see complete lists of things for every board. You know people will post the random thing around here, but really wouldn't post the hunter projectile for boarding action. You know what I mean.?.?

yea each level will have the same pages now, same order, all items alphabetically
just saw that the first 3 sp levels dont have the rocketlauncher so they wont have koming rockets offcourse tongue.gif

Sounds cool, one thing that made me mad about the old hce is the fact that it only supported like 15 pages or sumthin and a certain # of ppf's, maybe its only my box but ne ways, will you add more support for more files and pages?

weapon properties? like ROF, # of projectiles, amount of clip, charge length, uhhhhh accuracy (min/max spread), ............ reload time, and anything more if i missed anything

also projectile properties:
initial/final speed
explode delay 1 and 2
life span
weight/arc
