Battlestar Galactica

The game is cute.  Almost Rogue Squadron-esque. I haven't seen it talked about much, so it must not be that popular.  I always did like the show, so I had to pick it up.

BUT, in the root folder are these .txt files.
like:
pilots.txt
ships.txt
bullets.txt

Basically in the ships.txt there are listings of ships (I'm doing this from memory...)

Ship1
Max speed 300
turnradius 0.79
Afterburner multiplier 3.00
Armor 1500

and so on.... They are all nicley labeled, so everything is easy to know what you are changing.  (with the exception that you don't really don't know what ship you have )

I did figure out that the 1st ship listed was the one your allies use. and the 3rd ship listed was the one YOU use in the first mission.   After the 1st mission I lost my superfast ship.  I'm not sure if it's because I won some upgrades and it reset, or if you use a different ship on the second mission.

The first weapon listed in bullets.txt is your basic laser cannon.  It is also the cannon that your allies use.   That DIDN'T change between the first 2 missions.
the bullet.txt lists stuff like:

Weapon 1
Firerate 200 (the smaller the number, the faster here)
Damage 30
Blast Radius 0
Lifetime 2000

I'd explain it more thouroughly, but I haven't messed around with it too much.  It's pretty easy to figure out though.  If anyone wants to take the time to give a more in-depth analysis of these .txt files, go ahead.  I think I'm actually going to try and finish the game normally first.
