Hey I have siliently followed this forum for a while.
At first I know there was a problem with save games, after modding.
Is that still an issue or has it been resloved.

You install xbox mods the same as pc mods, with the exeption that all textures must be in the xbox format (info can be found in this thread, just read) and the .final file must be deleted after each change.

There arent really any tuts around. Best thing todo is goto http://www.gtaforums...hp?showforum=89 and read up on the how the hacks apply to the pc version, then read this thread to see how they can be adjusted to the work on the xbox version.

Skins for Tommy, just change the player.txd in the img file (there are several of them, one for each costume change in the game).  Right now I have the default Tommy replaced with the bride from kill bill.  The player mod I used for the bride also has you change the player.dff file as well.  There are a few player mods out there, some to get the strippers in Pole Position nude, but most just change the look of Tommy.

Alright I am new to hacking vice city for xbox so bear with me

So since I am to lazy to read this huge thread I was wondering that since I have GTAVC and I have3 hacked it before and all I had to do was change the #s of the thing I wanted to change.  So is that the same thing I do on the xbox version as well.??

Also do u have to FTP the file to ur computer or can I just use the text editor from unleashx to change the things around?

I might have to change the file name so that the text editor will open it up but.  Is there a text editor that will open and file up even if its not a supported file type for unleash x??


Also 1 more thing!!!  
Is there anyone that could make an xbox app that could run on the xbox kinda like HCE but use it to change the #s that way just an Idea???

im having a problem any time i install a car the car i replaced it for always disappear out the game like the banshee.it dissapears any time i replac it for another car does anyone know why

Ok actually have to take some thing back.

The tut works great, but only for bikes I can not get any cars in.
They just disapear when Install them.

I think it has something to do with the whell mod?
Any one have a solution? Or how to get the damn mod in.

I used that tut (except i used IMG tool instead of IMG) and it worked perfectly for my diablo, delorean, enzo and my bikes...

Highly doubtful, but try to use IMG Tool instead (dunno if thats any different from IMG).  There's no difference in putting a car or a bike in.  Read the readme's that come with it, they'll usually give you instructions on additional steps to take, like changing handling.cfg or specifying 249 for the wheel id etc....  Almost all of the models I've tried (cars and bikes) seem to work.  I've only run into a small handful that won't.

You have to manually instal the dmagic1 wheel mod just look it up on google and if you read the tut in the readme with the manual install you should be able to do it

I got the 4 wheeler working!! omg is it fun driving that thing! But theres one problem. I went on the road and I passed another guy on a 4 wheeler and the game wasnt just lagging it almost completly stopped for about 3 seconds at a time!! There needs to be a program that makes the textures crappy like the deafult cars.
