Grand Theft Auto Not Working

Anyone ? i've searched and searched, and i can't come up with anything,  all files are copied over just like it's on the game itself,

Is the clock in your xbox set to the correct time?  That is the only thing that I can think of. I have had no problems running thes off the hd myself..

if his clock isnt setup corectly then the game wouldnt run of the dvd either, right? so i dont think that is the problem.. You could try to reinstall it.. perhaps that would work. I downloaded the game and it were 2 different games; gta 3 and gta3 vice city. You cant install it on your hard disk ask 1 game, because it are 2 different games. Perhaps something went wrong there.
