Does anyone know which file Obis was speaking of towards the end of his post about changing the amount of kudos given? I have looked through many, and the only editing I did was to put myself in the credit (corny, but I always do it when i can).

I found one file that lists diggerent races, then a minimum and maximum kudo points. I am not sure if that is it. I haven't even gotten around to playing it yet. I am relativly bad at racing games,  well on realistic ones. I think I may get ok at this. When I start, I want to be able to unlock all the cars easier. I don't get much chance to play, so I want it to be worth it. I severly dislike having to unlock anything in games, so i always cheat when I can.

BUMP. i don't understand the programming in this game enough to know what to change and it what file to make all cars unlocked, or to give me lots of Kudos.

Well I just made it so all the cars were 0 tokens and then I was just able to get them all that way.

Just go to the Frontend folder find Cars.Ini open it up in notepad or word or what ever then just find where it says tokens for each car and change it to 0 and for the bonus cars like the CLK-GTR find where it says BonusCar=1 and change that to a 0.

On another note I was wondering if anyone could help point me in the right direction of uping the top speed of the cars?

Ive got the Cerbra Speed 12 tuned and everything but can't find where to make it go faster than 239, I can tell that it wants to go faster but can't.

Thanks doubble07, I did what you said and set the cars to 0 kudos. The thing I was unsure about was the value after the number, I didn't know if that meant anything.  I figured not after what you said. Its cool, I just did a quick test and bought some cars.  I'll see if I can figure out the edting of the cars myself, but first I need to practice driving slower ones, I am bad.

I also posted in sniper's gamefaqs message, but it is more appropriate here. I totally  do not understand what values to change in each car's INI. There are so many things, and I only understand about 3 of them. I also request that anyone who has made some cool modifications to cars to post their INI data. I think it would be helpful to the rest of us. If I saw a few modified ones, and compared them to the original, I think I might be able to understand better.

On a side note, I never was in to racing games. I think that is because I played the other sort of game, like more realistic. I have played a few races on this and I enjoy iy. I am bad and don't undrstand the tricks, but its still fun.

i been working on this too as per the thread i started, cough,,,

anyways,, my problem is i can make the cars do all kinds of stuff too but the one thing i cant STOP them from doing is wobbling,,, i can get them to somewhat stop but they are still hellishly hard to control,,   i have a Z4 that is pretty nice but i cant use the same characteristics in another car,, why ? i dont know,,the other cars will wobble.

its something to do with the engine/torque and grip i think but i cant figure it out.

the car mods are not server side, they must be server client..  otherwise only YOU have the modded cars.

i did this with NFS HP 2 on the PC and it was much harder to get a stable care there. yet i had 400 mph cars.

anywho someone post here or pm me how to keep the cars from wobbling, im having a helluva time.

porche truck ??   a pick up truck from porche ? i must have missed that one.

well fuck it nobody wants to take 5 sec and post an ini file then screw it.

i have a few cars but i cant get them to stop wobbling when you drive fast, so i wont post them,, its of no use when you cant drive the car very well.

if you look thru the posts i DID post a super mini. that for some reason has very little wobble. so go grab it and tune it more and crank it up.

but gotta remember each car has physics that are not totally in the ini files.. thats why if you paste the same ini file into another car file, its acts differently..  so ,, who knows..

also i get this when playing off the original

wow you got problems,,

turn IGR off in evox  also what modchip and bios you using.

well seems this thread is about dead,, so,, ill do some more work on some cars tonight and maybe post a thanksgiving day gift.. who knows... depends on if i can figure out how to make the cars stop wobbling.  somwthing to do with stability control grip torque and stuff,, its all mixed together,, you change one,, it effects the others.  this is what i went thru with NSF HP2  but worse,, and the cars didnt wobble they were just all over the road..

i need to be able to make it like that game,, stable at 400+ mph,, 0-200 in like 5 sec.   stuff like that.

yeah mine had to be in manual transmissions, as do all my modded cars,  the power curves for the transmissions/gear ratios need to be adjusted according to the torque and such that is changed, and frankly i dont feel like messing with that lol that too much work right now and i got a big full belly from too much turkey and stuffing. lol.

ill look into it more and report back.
