How Do I Make An Ftp Thingy?

I wanna know how to make an FTP server thing for my site so I can stop uploading shit and just let people upload from me... How do I do it?

Are you the administrator of your server?  Or do you just have an account on it?  One solution would be to put up an upload script ( probly php and MySQL ) where people can submit things.

Nah, I just want a FTP link like 28.24.346.45 or so and password/username: blah er something ;like that how do I do that?  And no, I just have an account... Im not on administrator.

if you want to run this from your own computer you could use bulletproof ftp server but if you want to run it from your webhost that will be a problem.

but from the sounds of it you want to host a server on your computer so you dont have to upload files everytime, and people just open your ftp and download them from your comp anytime they want to.
