this is a sweet discovery Kaio Shin..... i can't wait to try the stunt courses and stuff (i don't care tooo much about car swapping, cuz i'm not a car guy at all)

I know what your talking about.As soon as I saw realgta.net and found out gta was coming out for xbox that is all I have been waiting for (only reason got the game).I hope someone can get the shit to work sooner or later....

Yeah keep us all posted on any new info that comes around. I have also been doing alot of stuffing around wid files and stuff and trying to add cars. But nuffin has worked and only the default skin has loaded everytime. Mind u im only trying on GTA3 which im wanted to do more than Vice City, for now. But for sure if anymore info comes about please, let us all know ..

do u people over-ride the default skin file? or just make a back up file and then add your new file?  do you think if u just over-rided the default file it wud work??

There have been questions about things already covered here in the last couple days.
Maybe this will save some unnessesary topics.

No new info from me though... I know nothing as far as how to crack the two file formats that still need to be cracked... (txd and dff)

KaioShin, are u still working on it ??? Just curious cause i was hoping something could be worked out. Im sure it couldnt be too hard, well i guess u gotta get to the point of understanding it first. Let me know if u got any new news..

I'm not doing too much at the momment as far as GTA modding goes. Went back to my roots for a bit.. I'll get back to it though.

As far as I know nobody has started work on MTA. If someone wanted to work on it they would first need the source for the PC version. Then after porting the code it would have to be optimized to match any relevent changes made in the xbox port of GTA and VC... Not sure how much work that would be.

And for the controls... I've not tried changing them beyond the two stock options... I have looked at the config files though and will see if I can make any useful changes. If I can then I'll post about it when I get a chance.

The only main.scm mod ive tried for gta3 so far. Worked like a charm for the features i tested.
