I extracted a texture from halo and want to know wot u open a DDS file with.

Get PaintShopPro8 or Adobe Photoshop and then install the .dds plugin(google) in the PlugIn folder then you are all set.

any idea how to get the plugin to work with psp8 ? i put the plugin in the plugin folder but still wont let me open the file.

Ya same problem happened with me found out the the plugin i got didn't work for psp8 so i downloaded DXT_TOOLS from the "usual place" and used the plugin that came with that and it worked perfectly.
