Truth be told, the program will probably NOT be released, as it infringes on Bungie's copyrights. I too, have the program that extracts the models, (as well as it being the ONLY known windows version), but I'm not about to release it.

jimmsta we know u have the extractor too but kornkob said hes not eva gonna realse it so i hope u realse it btw he said no one else besides him had it lol.hes pro protecten the prog.and u should put it on #xbins or can u talk to me aout it so i can try and make my own "legal" version so everyone can have it

Please use linebreaks, and punctuation as i can hardly read what you write. Oh and it would be nice too if you could write the longforms of words as that would make things a lot easier. e.g. "you" for "u".

Ya um, the way I see it, it's stupid making a post to say "oh such and such has this programs that deos this cool shit but he wont let it out so we will never get to do what it does". So before you post this stupid shit, just dont, it's annoying as fuck and a waste of time to bullshit like this.

If someone could make a program like this, then someone ELSE also can, and will.

But bottomline, noone gives a shit that someone has a program that he wont release, because chances are, the damn thing does not exist in the first place.

I respect the excuse, "I'm not gonna release it because it's against the author's wishes". However, like someone else stated, we, as a scene, have never cared about infringing on M$'s rights... otherwise, the scene wouldn't have started with a open XDK, not a leaked (and illegal) one, and binaries compiled by it would be morally reprehensable. I don't see that happening now or anytime soon....
Long story short, not releasing a tool because we respect anyone's copyrights is a joke. Didn't stop the XDK from being released, nor does it stop XBin's server from serving up our files on a regular basis.
