I backed one up to DVD-R that boots. You probably dont have a DVD burner huh. Besides now that I think of it. The whole disc is way bigger than Cd, Its like 1.5 gb or someshit. Maybe thats why it wont work for you.

Sorry dude, I would but I'm a work and can't use that much bandwidth to upload 160mb.

If I get to a computer this weekend......gotta watch da cubs......I'll upload it from home for you.

Would it be possible to just extract the files from the iso and copy the SC level file to the HD? if so where do I need to copy them to (Drive and dir name)?

You can't just install the folder, you need an "installer" persae.  That's how the companion disc works.

Yea KAC's right, you need an installer to install the levels and once on your harddrive it's exclusive to your XBOX.

If anybody wants I can upload the three new levels of SC. Their 96MB in total, it's basically a stipped down version of the Rainbow six companion disc with the SC levels and the installer and everything else is taken out.

I don't understand this.I was over at nforce a few weeks ago and first they said you need ot change a few bytes in the file, and then I saw someone say you just need to patch the "3 xbe files",and now you guys are saying something different...lol.Does anyone know exactly how to get this thing to run?I have the original (not backup) versions of both ghost recon and splinter cell and the expansion pack download.Do I have to make a back up of splinter cell?I don't want to waste media considering I already have the original copy.....help would be appreciated

Yep, you can run the companion disk from the HD using the same method as running emulators, apps and games. Once you run the disk, from the menu install all the levels. Thats it, then load up your origional Splinter Cell game and the new levels will be in the load level screen.

so put the extra levels on the hard drive and put the origianl game in and load the levels? Also do I ahve to do anything to .xbe files?

Yes, when you load up the companion disk, you can install the levels to your HD. After that just load up your game like normal, select a previous save, and then in the level select screen you will be able to choose the new stages. I didnt have to mess with any .XBE's.
