This works on Quick Mission but can easily be converted to run on Campaign. I will try and convert one to Campaign after we get this actor and kit issue done. Hey Allen do you have a website? If you do then I will post all the tutorials and stuff on it.

nah, i dont have a website anymore. my group (im in a rap group) has a website, but I don't have any control over it and I dont have admin access to it.

i tried to edit the file in notepad, but it didnt save properly. actually n/m, i got it. i did save as originally, but just save works.

using your method above, does that replace one of the pre-existing maps with the new map downloaded? or does it keep all the original maps AND add the ones you downloaded? because i'm not trying to replace any maps, im trying to be greedy andhave like 32489429844 missions, haha

one more question: could you explain a little further about creating your own map and map directory? none of the missions i downloaded have any *.map files, and there aren't any *.map files in the GR directories either.

hey, do you have IM? if so, we could chat sometime and try to knock this out.

i think i may be downloading the wrong maps then, lol
none of the missions i downloaded have map files. they have rsb files though, i just assumed the map files were included in them.

the reason i asked if it overwrites missions is because in your example you gave above, you said to just use the watchful yeomin file (xc01_plantation.env), and to edit the couple lines and just save it. I figured that would be overwriting the mission since it would now be pointing towards the new mission instead. and trying to save it as a new file name doesnt work since windows doesnt recognize .mis or .env files

shit, im starting to get sleepy and i cant even think straight right now and cant say all i wanna say. I'll tamper with this tommorrow after I get back from the sports bar watching my Saints beat the ungodly fuck out of the Atlanta Falcons. peace

Ok well with the ppf patches I am not sure if they would work because I have never used anything to do with them.... as for the maps you can re-texture every map except the xbox ones for now.... I will try to extract everything from those glb files or whatever they are and try to inject textures..... I would appreciate it alot if someone could help me fix imported maps with actors and kits..... this is the only problem left with importing maps.... I am about to hook up my xbox with my pc and try to fix the problem.... When I fully fix it I will tell you guys and tell you guys about discoveries or whatever that I find on the way.... Would someone be willing to let me post my full tutorials on their website?

OK I had a look at the way actors are placed in maps and they all have these script ID's and stuff from the glb files. These glb files will have a map in one glb along with its textures and the other glb files have all the actors in them. If someone has GR on pc then can they post their actor files onto a website so I can download them and test them out on xbox.... This will make it so I can figure out how to import actor files as well.... Hopefully when this is done I can post some good tutorials on someones website and then I can teach you guys how to fully hack up GR!!.... Lol I never thought I would be a lead modder in an xbox game lol... Anyway after my brother gets off the xbox I will muck around with it more.... Just give me about an hour lol

I have downloaded all my .glb files onto my pc and I am checking them..... from what I have seen its going to be a little tricky getting all the actors to play on an imported map.... I will make a new mission file and see if it works

It would be good if someone gave me feedback on the gun editing... I would like to see some other peoples gun creations....

P.S. I am still waiting to test the new .mis file.... that is the key to making all imported maps readable.... as soon as I test it I will be able to know if it works and if it doesnt then I will be able to find out the errors I have made....

I tried the map again and it didnt work.... Im about to make another .mis file but this time I will clone another maps .mis file and just touch it up with a new mapname and .rsb pictures in the .mis file.... Sorry this is taking so long but hey I found all this other stuff and have almost got this 100 percent working! lol.... Anyway I will start making a load of various .mis files and test them all. This will take me a while though...

Oops I just read your post Bob and you can have gun skins... you just need to make the pics in rsb format and make sure the skin works.... You also have to link it to your new gun or edited gun.... As for maps they work but not with any actors yet (Enemies, Vehicles etc). I will have this problem sorted out as soon as I get GR pc actor files and textures...

like the one wit the grenade launcher under it

see when u edit that file that helios said
and do a system-link game like xbconnect etc..

the other player say from texasa
will not have all the shit u edited

and when you join a game the other players will not have it but u will

so  for all of you who like to cheat well this is too Cheap yo

so i have a oicw/gl gun that has 99 in the magazine and 990 total

and the nade launcher at 9 in the mag and 18 total but this is easily change
like i could change it to the rocket launcher or the bazooka

so this is pretty fun to mess wit considering you could look into ur scope across the field lol
i get so many ppl with that edited gun lol

and this works with both games ghost recon and gr it
I know most of u know this already tho

well lets see some real hacking here
