Well its been said that alot of things in the xbox hacking scene were impossible and its happened. So I beleive it will be done. Maybe not soon. Halo's been out what, almost 2 years and there just now exploiting it. Just my 2 cents.

If the enemy AI also contains the info for diving behind rocks/trees and running from grenades, then you got your bot right there. As long as you can make it so the enemy/bots awareness distance is severely extended (so you don't have to be 10 ft away before they notice you), you should have a sufficiently "tuff" bot to play with.

Im sure that nobody thought flying ghosts and all the other stuff we have hacked wasnt possible either... but it was just a matter of time before that happend... so its just a matter of time before we get bots too

just to inform everyone. Me, Kornkob, (maybe N-, tjc and a few other people) are testing out different ai's, such as actr and actv. Whenever actv is changed, the model and everything else is changed too. Actv is the variant ai, and actr is the base ai. We're still trying to figure stuff out and the limitations of ai swappage. (such as when you change a grunt major needler to elite major plasma rifle, the model changes to an elite. But when I change the elites model to a grunt, I have a stiff grunt that glides, shoots, and dies very awkwardly) Importing ai from singleplayer to multiplayer shouldn't be too hard as there are many "code caves" (filler 00's to make the cache an even 47 megabytes) Hope this gives you some more info on whats going on, and this does NOT mean there definitely will be bots. As I just said, we are testing things out.
