i think he means a program that replaces the "flattened bitmaps" that were shown a while back, but not able to be released...someone, i think it was nick(not sure), made an HBO post showing a whole bunch of bitmaps...im probrably wrong, but i think he means a proggy that will let you "inject" overwrite our bitmaps into the halo files somewhere???

Doesn't sound like the coder's too interested in releasing it. In fact, he just recently took his Halo Map Expander source down because he no longer wishes it to be made public. I doubt he's gonna have a different opinion on the texture editor.
