How Do You Go About Converting Hex To Byte?
« on: August 23, 2003, 10:51:00 PM »

I figured it out. I just right-clicked on the 47mb map file. seen how many bytes it was. The hex goes upto 2F00000 which comes out to equal 47. So basically the area i wanted searched, 24-2A turns out to be about the area of bytes 36000000-42000000

I tried this. and would 19 changes. It had thousands of changes when whole fiel was searched. Don't know how that happened. I narrowed it down to about 38100000-4120000 on my map. That made a much smaller ppf file. I got it now.

Double post.

Anyways, i finished all my 4 new maps. uploaded them to the haloskins ftp. You can get them from the site once they post it, get them off the ftp itself, or goto xbox-saves.com and get them there in the uploads section.
