How Do I Play Forza Off My Hdd

i have a xecuter 3 modchip evox dashboard, works fine and ive modded halo2 SP and MP, and that was easy to put on my C drive,

but i rip forza's data to a folder and put that on my C drive and when i load it off my dashboard my xbox freezes. can anybody tell me what ive done wrong? a file i have to get rid of for it to work....

i have xbox live and ive played forza on xbox live....
i just started to play modded forza well not really modded, but off my xbox... as i want to customise new decals as my ones are boreing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

so can anybody help? link me to a tutorial for successfully placing forza on the hdd to play it.

ive fixed it myself... i just renamed the auto update folder...

What folder is that?  I'm trying to do the same thing... copy my Forza game to my HD and play it from there.

I've tried changing the language, rebooting, changing the language back, rebooting, but it still doesn't work for me.

Odd, as a last ditch effort, I tried backing up Forza to the HD of my other Xbox using UnleashX... and sure enough it worked.  I didn't have to mess with any language settings at all.

I'm going to try copying it to the other Xbox to see if it'll run there as well.

No luck, so it has to be something with the Xbox.  The differences between the Xboxes are as follows:

1. Kernel versions different.
2. One is softmodded, while the other has a modchip.

Anyone have any ideas?
