Resigning Saves After Hdd Upgrade
« on: June 16, 2005, 05:43:00 PM »

I'm so glad that there is a patch so I can resign me old saves now. But I really can't get it to work. Her's what i did:

I already patched the default.xbe with BrienJ's Non-XBL PPF and Auth Key

then I got my saves from the old hd using xbsm

extracted it to a directory

edited my hdkey.ini for xsig

resigned the userprofile.xml in 4d53006eold\UDATA\4d53006e\9C2CD7449FEF

repacked it in a zip

then put it back on the xbox

I boot the game save shows up but is corrupted.

Note: this is the first time I've tried resigning game saves but I don't think I missed anything.

Your HD Key is wrong, period.  Plus you should download my newest program from HERE.  ;)

It is much nicer and won't interfere with your old saves.  ;)
