The templates are created from a completely black car. If you wish the car to be silver. Paint everything black in the template silver.

er.. is much more easy if everyone has the tool and knowledge to do the custom cars?
we can test the cars our self, test the images and etc.

why i need to send for yours my ideas and images for yours do the cars? if for some ranson i can't like the car what you've made for me?, or for give the custom design we must to enter in a queue on yours jobs for us? or queue to sell and buy system of the game in xbl/kai?

isn't much more easy way if every one who interesting having a tool or knowledge for do our self cars, made by we, with all changes, tests and etc.

i said it because when i creat a car, normaly i give up 4hours, if a decal or layer isn't in the position or size what i want, i normaly delete more other layers to test it or something like that, but when urs do the car for me, i can't observe and follow hows the car is finished, how the decal and vinyl will be on the car and etc.

that is the idea?

sorry for bad english.
this is just a constructive critic, for best.. for us :(

The problem being that it is a VERY complicated process and any tool would requre a great deal of knowledge to use. That aside, if everyone had access to this they would be editing thing on cars they shouldn't be changing... Physics/Ratings etc...

okay, every hack is complicated on start. But how many hard it is to know?
some things, most of us can do and learn perfectly

if yours have a little patience to explain the basic, what we can do, what are we can't do, the limits, image rules (aka: size format, alpha, etc), car propriets

we not retarded
and i think most of us isn't lame or newbie enough to learn.

IF by the anyway is can't be possible to do for we, there is no problem
i can select my i :( mages and tell yours how i want my car :(

thank you anyway.

I thought that this community was based on sharing. I am not a programmer but  works in computer graphics and I would have be able to test this kind of thing by myself.

I don't have the xboxlive.. So how could I have the modeles??? and how could i destroy the game online. I play alone or with some friends in my home.. So what would be the problem????

Don't understand that, but you do the soft and it 's your right to decide to share it or not..

Sorry for my poor english but i'm just a little frenchie...

hi i was interested in developing an app to create custom cars...
problem is im not sure what format to out put, or what variables to input for the various decals ect...
this would be a big job cause of all of the graphics and car types but i figure making the tool on the pc would make it easier to make a car look than on your tv with a controller...

is this a possibility in anyones eyes or am i barking up the wrong tree?

I considered producing something like this in response to this post:

A PC based, DirectX, app sounds like it would be just the job.  However such an app would need the 3D meshes for the cars out of Forza, and they're copyright which would limit distribution. :(

an application like this for forza would be great biggrin.gif
just an idea for advanced devolopers and people who have knowledge.
