Problem With Winuaex
« on: November 10, 2007, 12:30:00 PM »

Hi, community!
First of all thanks for the great work!
I have a problem with winuaex! I messed up my settings ( no sound in menu, etc. ) and now I would like to restore all my settings. I deleted e:/saves/winuaex and the save that I found with the MS dashboard. Then I deleted e:/cache and x, y, z drives. I downloaded winuaex again from xbins and copied it to my harddrive after I deleted the old one.

But all that didn´t solve the problem.
My forum search didn´t find anything, that matches my problem, so I really appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

There's no sounds or background music in WinUAEX menu.

From the readme that comes with WinUAEX:

QUOTE
WinUAE eats up a LOT of memory.  I had to remove the following:

Software graphics filters (2xSai, AdvanceMame2x, etc, etc)
MP3 playback
Network sharing (Samba, Relax, netplay)
Hi-definition modes (720p, 1080i)

If you put a different skin on, I don't recommend using any sprites or sounds
because if you add too much, it may prevent WinUAEX from being able to load
any games.

I don't think these restrictions will be really disappointing to people, though.

Funny you should mention that.. I just remembered our little chat at EAB about you having it running 1080i.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Info was taken from the very first WinUAEX release tho, but there's absolutely no music or sfx in the latest build.
