Can't wait for BlissX update.

If a new core + intellivoice support (I know you said in earlier releases it was too hard to impliment so that just might be on the wishlist) I think that would about make it perfect.

Been waiting for this one some time.

Obviously intellivoice support would be nice but if it's too difficult, I understand.

Here is a quote from what I said about the previous version of BlissX and is the only problem I really remember it having.  But it is a problem that makes mapping buttons more difficult than it needs to be.

A simple run thru the intellivision test cartridge shows the problems created.

Would be kinda cool to have the save configuration to web site built into this one.  Simply cause mapping the intellivision pad requires alot of time.  So someone in the know, who is more familar with the intellivision can create mappings and up them.

I'm surprised this was never mentioned yet.
But then again I guess the Intellivision aint so popular these days.   (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleeping.gif)

Seems there is a controller conflict "built in" into BlissX.

Since the left analog pad is "mapped to the joystick" internally the default settings for pushing buttons on the Intellivision do not work correctly.

For example if you press up on the left analog stick, it presses both the 0 and the 8 button.  Left does 2 & 0.  Right does 3 & 6..... etc.  And we all know what happens when you press too many buttons at the same time on the intellivision!  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

This can be got around by mapping the pad number buttons to both the analog stick AND another button.  Picking a free button is another problem in of itself.   (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

These conflicts can be verified by running the Intellivision test cartridge.

BlissX v5 was released in 2003 and at that time Intellivoice was not supported in Bliss so obviously BlissX  wouldn't support it either without tons of extra coding work.  Since that time Bliss has added Intellivoice support and it would be possible using the latest Bliss core for BlissX.  I dont know how big of a deal it would be to switch to the latest core but I agree, it would be nice to have a more complete Intellivision emulator even if its only 5 or so games that can use Intellivoice

Hope you're still planning an update to Bluemsxbox .    We are all expecting some new core and features that your newest Xport interface brings on.

I've had this issue with Vampire Killer/Castlevania/Akumajo Dracula which was running too fast.

I'm also really looking forward to the update on Bluemsxbox. I Toshiba MSX 64k was my first computer when I was younger, it's a lovely little machine.

Any news on how things are going here?

I've been messing about with the current version of BlueMSXbox and for reason it doesn't like to play very many of the old MSX1 tape games, I'm quite sure my files are all ok, is it a limitation of BlueMSXbox or does it play all of these types of files ok, anyone?

I did try out the old FMSXbox emu while I was at it too, but that also had a few problems loading them in. Cartridges are fine however on both emus. Hopefully the new update will sort it out.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
